Biography

Chanson Nicole Bellamy launched her independent music career with a concert as the first African American female artist to headline a show at Hard Rock Louisville on August 14, 2014.

She became a top 5 finalist in the 2015 Hard Rock Rising Barcelona competition, where herself and 3 band mates travelled to Spain to perform for a live audience

In 2017 Chanson was crowned WHAS 11 Kentuckiana Idol.

In 2020 came the launch of Enchanted Boutique and Creative Space. This creative environment was a space for artists to have access to, for shows, pop up shops, music lessons, sip and paints and many other events.

January 29, 2022 marked a pivotal time as her brother and music producer Harold Calhoun transitioned out of this world due to complications from Covid-19. Chanson has plans to release music in honor of the dreams her and her brother share deeply.

August 4th 2023, Chanson headlined a groundbreaking concert titled “THE REBIRTH” on globally renowned Bombard Theatre Stage at Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts.

Mrs. Bellamy is an author, a minister, a songstress and can captivate any audience with her gifts of ministry through speech and song.

Chanson is currently preparing to enter a new era of creativity. Since 2023 a lot of growth and change has taken place on a personal level. Now, as a wife and mother of 2, a slow but steady release of music is coming to introduce Mrs. Bellamy on an intimate level.
